This year, we celebrated Christmas early, and I was the lucky one who got to shop for our sister Amy. She is the sweetest, goofiest, and youngest sister. As a young 20-something, she is dating, in her own place, and still obsessed with the color pink and anything Happy-Go-Lucky. With Amy, it is the little things that make her happy…so why not gift a bunch of little things in a reusable storage crate? The simple side of her will geek out! Here is her “Stocking on Steroids!”
I started with a wood crate (find the best price at Michael’s) and spray painted it pink, Amy’s favorite color. These letters were too cute, I just had to add them! Spray paint them gold and use wood glue to attach. It helped with my shopping to stick to these two colors: Pink & Gold.
Stuffed with… 1) A Cosmetic Organizer from the Dollar Tree; 2) A Self-Awareness Book: Grace, Not Perfection by Emily Ley from Target; 3) A Llama Fuzzy Blanket from Five Below; 4) A Gold Candle; 5) Her Favorite Candy: Ferrero Rocher; 6) Pink Nail Polish; 7) Fuzzy Socks from the Dollar Tree; 8) Rose Wine Cube from Target; 9) Sip, Sip Hooray Wine Glass from the Dollar Tree; 10) Travel Coffee Mug from the Dollar Tree; 11) Sisters before Misters Magnet from the Dollar Tree…
…12) Confidence Candle from Five Below; 13) Sparkle Sign; 14) Best Sister Ever Mug from Target; 15) TAZO Calm Chamomile Tea; 16) Pink Bubble Bath from the Dollar Tree; 17) Que Bela Refreshing Face Mask from Target; 18) Be Silly Notepad from the Dollar Tree; 19) Birthday Cake Bath Bombs from Target
All wrapped up and ready to go!
Or so I thought! After I took the pictures, I couldn’t stop finding cute stuff for her. I added some Jamberry Nail Wraps, a pink picture frame with a snapshot of a favorite memory, and a wood sign from Joann’s.
I’ll post her reaction here, because surprising others with joy is the greatest gift you can give!
