A Yoga Based Leg Stretching Series

A long time ago, a college runner found herself looking to yoga for some relief. I came across this article in SELF magazine and it has become my go-to for leg day or mid-run stretches. The entire series hits every important leg muscle: Hamstrings, Calves, Abdominals, IT Band, Gluteus Medius, Gluteus Maximus, Quads, Hip Adductors, and Lower Back. I adapted the series for an easier flow, and incorporated some better stretches. Try it out!

Hold each pose 15 seconds for optimal stretch.
