I’m one of those people who hates cleaning the shower. Wait, aren’t we all those people?! I was searching for an all natural shower spray that I could use daily to help reduce the soap scum buildup and prolong my shower’s every-6-months deep cleaning. Here’s the recipe I used to make my own (and it smells AMAZING)!
Ingredients:
1/2 cup Rubbing Alcohol
1 cup white distilled vinegar
1 teaspoon all natural liquid dish soap
15 drops Lemon Essential Oil
15 Drops Tea Tree Essential Oil
3/4 cup Water
Directions:
Easy peasy, mix it all up in the spray bottle, secure topper, spray in shower daily.
It is worth noting that while some people consider rubbing alcohol to be “all natural,” it is a skin irritant. Don’t get any on your hands while mixing it up, and be careful when you spray in the shower that you don’t spray and hop right in. I spray my tub down right after I shower to give the spray a chance to work and dry up.
